"I have to be prepared for the possibility of retiring," the 31-year-old told Brazilian television. "I know it won't be easy. It will be a very tough recovery and something might happen during the recovery period which means I cannot play again. "

However, rumors persist that Brazilian outfit Flamengo are monitoring his rehabilitation closely and seek to bring the 31-year-old back to his homeland. Indeed, he himself had hinted that he might return to Brazil. However, he was more cautious this time around. "It is not the best moment to talk about Flamengo or Milan or any other club," he continued.

他到AC Milan我才看到比較多場他的職業比賽，這時他已經老了胖了，速度不再，但是每次他上場我還是覺得他起了非常大的作用，他上場時間超過半場的比賽米蘭幾乎沒有輸過。Youtube上有關他的影片更是嚇嚇叫的多又驚人。
巴西出產球星不是新聞，事實上巴西企業也很歡迎老邁的球星回到故鄉踢球，像是之前國米的前鋒Adriano也是回到巴西踢球，對Ronaldo這樣旅行於各大球會之間的超級球星來說，沒有一個感情深厚的球隊可以榮退，回到故鄉退役也是很棒的選擇吧？
